Sous Vide Stick
With the sous vide stick from Unold, meat, fish and vegetables can be cooked slowly and gently in vacuum-sealed foil bags in a water bath at a constant low temperature. Vacuuming preserves vitamins, vital substances and aromas. The food becomes tender and juicy and retains its natural taste.
The sous vide stick heats up to 20 liters of water in a saucepan or other heat-resistant container - the minimum height should be 18 centimeters. As soon as the water has reached the desired temperature, the vacuum-sealed food can be inserted. The sous vide stick with its 1,300 watts heats the water to an accuracy of +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius. The desired temperature can be set in 0.5 degree increments. During the cooking process, the heat level is kept constant thanks to the powerful circulation pump and the integrated timer function (up to 60 hours) offers an automatic switch-off function if the water level is too low. The beveled LCD display is pleasant to look at and makes it easy to read the time and temperature.
