Anna Chalice Hergiswil
The Anna chalice, glass blown.
The glassblowers at “Glasi” in Hergiswil proudly handcraft all their products.
Each glass is made of three parts: the actual drinking vessel, the stem and the foot, and is manufactured in seven steps. These consecutive steps must be completed very rapidly because the molten glass must remain at a constant temperature. A minimum of five people work on each piece simultaneously.
