Massive and masculine, this cutlery, reduced to a strict geometric basic shape, appears. Carl Pott originally created it on behalf of Cologne's citizens, who donated it to their city as a silver council foundation. Like no other Pott-cutlery, the design stands in the formal tradition of the Bauhaus. In keeping with its monumental appearance, the fork has five tines. The elegant swing of the wide, heavy handles is striking.
