What better way to get to know a wine than to wander through the region it comes from? From the dry slopes of the Valais to the mild lake regions, Switzerland offers a wonderful variety of landscapes and grape varieties to discover.

To get to know her favorite winemakers and their products, enologist, journalist and adopted Swiss Ellen Wallace traveled the country's roads and trails. She has selected 50 picturesque itineraries spread throughout Switzerland's wine regions, all of which end with a wine glass in hand.
