Klar's porcelain soap is made of white clay and is free of additives such as perfume or oils.

Why china clay:

Porcelain clay, also known as white clay, is a particularly fine natural healing clay which is broken down by the stone kaolin. It is not only used in the production of fine porcelain but also for cosmetic applications. Because porcelain clay binds fats, it is much finer-grained than other healing earths. This also makes it suitable for particularly sensitive and thin skin.
