Cannelé is a small French pastry, spiced with rum and vanilla, with a soft and delicate custard centre and a dark, thick caramelised crust. It has the shape of a small, striped cylinder up to five centimetres high with a depression at the top.
This pretty, delicious caramelised biscuit with its unmistakable delicate vanilla and rum flavour is known from the city of Bordeaux, which is known as the little chef Cannelé.
With the Cannelé form of lékué you will succeed at home. The 100% platinum silicone baking tin is odour resistant, flexible, non-sticky and therefore ideal and practical for preparing pastries. You can make 18 pieces in the mould.
