The Boston shaker consists of a high-quality stainless steel cup and a sturdy shaker glass. The stainless steel cup is filled with the ingredients, the glass is placed on the cup at a slight angle, a light tap on the glass fixes itself in place and the cocktail can be shaken. To remove the shaker, the glass must be at the bottom and a light tap on the side of the stainless steel cup is enough to release the shaker.
