Ashtray Bauhaus

The ashtray by Alessi was designed by Marianne Brandt and consists of two elements. His design would today be described by most as "classic", for the cylindrical shape has now become marrow and leg for the observer, although it was only in 1926 part of the birth of industrial design, which emerged as a further development of the traditional forging craft at the Bauhaus metal workshop and has shaped aesthetic ideas to this day.
