The acrylic salad servers are beautifully crafted. It is handmade in Germany and is visually reminiscent of real serving cutlery made from horn.

In the 18th century, this cutlery was still made from real tortoiseshell and horn. In 1933, the Röhm company launched Plexiglas®, a material that is still used today. This was followed by a rethink and the company began to work with new materials such as acrylic glass (Plexiglas®) and found an ideal material that could be processed like tortoiseshell or horn.
