Herbs and spices can be coarsely chopped or powdered in the porcelain bowl with its structured grating surface.

Since space is a scarce commodity in Japan, great importance is always attached to functionality and stackability in the design of products. So the whole Sitaku series can be stacked on top of each other after use and stored in the cupboard to save space.

The whole series is manufactured in Arita, the porcelain city on the southernmost of the Japanese islands, whose history has been closely linked with this material since the early 17th century
